Hasta Shakti: Activating the Power of Our Hands

With Dara Daniels
$25-$35 Sliding Scale

Bring more energy, vitality, and creativity to everything you do in the new year by activating the power and lifeforce in your hands, your hasta shakti!

From cooking to gardening to healing to offering a loving touch to someone in need we truly hold the power in the palm of our hands. In this activating workshop, we will work with thousands of years old practices like meridian tapping Qigong from China and Sacred Buddhist Dance from Nepal, plus others, to awaken the flow of energy in our whole bodies, connect to our hearts, and direct the energy out our arms and into the world.

This workshop includes warm ups for the hands and wrists, Qigong practices to activate the energy of the heart, hands, and qi flow through the meridians, and hand mudras from classical Indian and Sacred Buddhist Dance to bless and heal ourselves and others. It is a beautiful weaving of my background as a licensed acupuncturist, Qigong practitioner, Reiki Master, yogini, and temple dancer with training in Odissi dance from India, Charya Sacred Dance from Nepal, as well as Tara Dance.

This practice is open to all.
