Free Your Voice: Women’s Vocal Workshop

With Carrie Arlah
$35-$45 Sliding Scale

Free Vocal Blocks | Restore Your Throat and Mouth Vibrancy | Open and Free Healthy Expression | Connect Your Heart to your Voice more Fully

We hold so much in our mouths, throats, hearts, bellies.. so much holding back and holding in. You are invited to let go of these patterns of holding and lines of tension within a carefully curated environment of loving acknowledgment and facilitated release.

It’s time to release legacies of silence and withholding and free ourselves and each other by speaking our truth, singing our hearts, and freeing our spirits through our free-flowing and healthy throats and mouths.

This workshop will include vocal exercises through humming and singing, writing and sharing from our hearts, a ceremony of release within which we will free ourselves from patterns of holding, songs for connection, and more that helps us embody our voices fully and connect them to our hearts and bellies of loving truth.

We will honor ourselves, one another, and our ancestral lines of mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, as we do our personal work of freedom and release that supports all in healthy and loving expression.

This workshop includes:

  • Vocal exercises

  • Journaling and sharing

  • Ceremony of release

  • Exercises for freeing vocal expression

  • Both singing and speaking

  • Loving and supportive community

This container is not for learning to sing beautifully, although everything we do can support your beautiful voice. It is for freeing your expression, getting more fully into your own voice, and releasing contraction and restriction in your throat, heart, and mouth.

Carrie Arlah Burr

Raised in dysfunctional patterns of silence and withholding herself, Carrie learned through decades of vocal work the importance of freeing the throat, mouth, and voice for all areas of health. Being trained as a professional singer in her young life, she has had to un-learn most of what she was taught in order to allow for her own authentic voice to emerge. Now, she supports others in finding their own voices and speaking and singing from their inner places of truth, connection, and love. She believes that healthy expression is vital to healthy living and is committed to helping herself and others embody and express themselves as fully and healthfully as possible.
